This year the Airlift/Tanker Association Conference was held in Grapevine, Texas at the Gaylord Convention center. There was a large turnout of Airlift professionals—around 4,000! Colonel Gail Halvorsen loved the A/TA, and was honored to be in their Hall of Fame. He rarely missed an opportunity to attend this annual gathering of Airlift professionals.
