Hope Flies High Gala — We Rise Together

This year we honor the spirit of rising together in times of need, from the Berlin Airlift to 9/11 to humanitarian work happening today. We spotlight the Candy Bomber legacy, recognize modern community heroes through the Candy Bomber Spirit Awards, and celebrate the next generation through Camp SOAR and Operation Candy Bomber, where students learn leadership, service, and aviation-based STEM skills that lift communities.
The evening also introduces The Candy Bomber Center: Where Hope Takes Flight, a future home for innovation, education, and remembrance, featuring STEM labs, learning spaces, and a dramatic atrium honoring the legacy of kindness that began with two sticks of gum.
