The Candy Bomber Foundation is excited to participate in the 2024 Symposium and Convention of The Airlift/Tanker Association at the Gaylord Texan in Grapevine, Texas as an exhibitor again this year.

The Airlift/Tanker Association provides a forum for ensuring that the USA continues to have the air mobility capability required to implement national security strategy. They are focused on current capabilities as well as understanding the rich legacy of the history of mobility operations- including the Candy Bomber Story from the 1948-1949 Berlin Airlift. The A/TA Symposium draws nearly 4,000 military and aerospace industry leaders each year. A/TA annually confers the Colonel Gail Halvorsen Award recognizing an outstanding individual for sustained excellence in aerial port operations.
