The Halvorsen Foundation had a presence at the 2023 Air and Space Forces Association Symposium at the Gaylord Rockies convention center near Denver this week. Over 4,000 people gathered to hear from USAF leaders such as Secretary of the Air Force Frank Kendall and General CQ Brown, USAF Chief of Staff.
Executive Director, Dr. Jim Stewart, met with aerospace and technology industry leaders to strengthen partnerships and identify new opportunities for collaboration. Dr. Stewart said, “There is a growing concern in the industry about introducing young people to STEM. This interest lines up perfectly with the Foundation’s mission to inspire children through STEM.”
